Our Story
"It started in 2016 with Moses. I met him just as he was about to be kicked out of school because he couldn’t afford his tuition.
I quickly realized that the cost to cover his schooling for the year was very low, so I decided to pay for him and a few other students.
I shared this with some friends, telling them how affordable it was to send students to school in Uganda. They were eager to help too.
Before I knew it, we had developed a sponsorship program, and now we sponsor over 70 children."
– James Temme, Co-Founder
Our sponsorship covers tuition, books, bags, uniforms, shoes, food, and accommodation for high school boarding students.
Our Mission
At Stars of Hope, our mission is to provide Ugandan children with the opportunity for a better future. We aim to break the cycle of poverty by offering education to children who would otherwise be unable to afford it. We believe that by investing in education, we are giving children the tools they need to change their lives and communities.
We focus on providing holistic support—covering tuition, books, uniforms, shoes, food, and accommodation for high school boarding students. Our goal is to ensure that no child is left behind simply because of financial hardship.
